Recent Developments
The Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (“TİTCK“) published the Application and Registration Guideline (“Guideline“) on October 17, 2018. The Guideline was drafted based on the feedback provided by companies operating in the cosmetics sector regarding problems they encountered while utilizing the application and tracking systems.
What’s New?
The Guideline will facilitate companies’ utilization of the Product Tracking System (tr. “ÜTS“) and Electronic Application System (tr. “EBS“). The Guideline provides step-by-step explanations on how to create and submit notifications and registrations through illustrative screenshots and descriptions.
The TİTCK aims to provide companies with easy and convenient instructions for utilizing their systems, as well as meet the sector’s needs and cosmetic companies’ requests. Companies can follow the steps elucidated in the Guideline to make their registrations through the ÜTS and EBS and their notifications through the ÜTS with ease.
The Application and Registration Guideline is available on the TİTCK’s website (in Turkish).
Conclusion
The TİTCK continues to provide guidance for companies in the cosmetics sector. Companies should follow the TİTCK’s announcements and make their required notifications and registrations through the ÜTS and EBS.
